Durham is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Durham follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I seriously love this place. I'm moving to the midwest soon and I'm tempted to make the 18 hour drive each time I need something done on my car hahaha. The team at thrifty tire is super honest, friendly, quick, and affordable. These guys do solid work that they stand by and they have never tried to up charge or take advantage. I tell all my friends to hit this spot up. Bop over to Super Taqueria and grab an agua fresca and some tacos while you wait for your oil change. PSA they are opening a location in Hillsborough, so check it out if that's your neck of the woods. Shoutout to Max and the gang over at Thrifty Tires. You've kept me on the road the last couple years without breaking the bank, truly the Lord's work.

I am a super Regular when it comes to this establishment for the past five years, I spent thousands and thousands of dollars with this company getting tires, inspections, brakes side mirrors so forth so far today I go in to get an inspection and I was told that to get some tires so I said OK cool Iโll come back tomorrow and get them. The mechanic continues to finish the inspection and just tells me hey man just come back and get your tires tomorrow, but I was able to get the inspection done. Next thing you know the manager stops everything and tells him that that just come back and get the tires and weโll do the inspection tomorrow. The thing is the paperwork was already done, and the inspection was already passed the paperwork and everything was cleared. The right thing to do was to wait until I came back tomorrow, but the mechanic already had the inspection with everything passed then itโs too late. You might as well just go ahead and give me the legal documentation that I passed my inspection for 2026 2027 when the mechanic was taken from the car, another guy told him come here ima whisper fashion telling him everything I already knew. the funny thing is they couldnโt pass me b

My tech came to this establishment yesterday for a $240.05 oil change on a sprinter van and now all of the oil has leaked out by the following morning, which is today. I call this morning and get the pleasure of speaking with Frank who told me to put more oil in the van and drive it back in (from Garner to Durham when it is already spitting oil out at a concerning rapid rate) OR get it towed (all at our expense with no possibility of reimbursement) and they can "check to see if the oil leak was related to the oil change," that was just done not even 24hrs ago, when the van never leaked prior to coming here. Terrible service AND customer service and I bet none of my fleet will ever come here again. I'll try to call again later to attempt to speak with a manager or someone else who has a better solution and knows how to better handle a situation that they are at fault for! **UPDATE** I called back the same day and spoke with Louis, explained the situation and he said that they would honor the tow expense and get everything squared away. COOL! I follow up this morning and some guy (who was not Louis bc his Spanish accent disappeared) who tells me that he is Louis (when he first ans

They were very honest and did not try to overcharge me. My mechanic investigated all the issues I was worried about and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. He did not try to upsell me, which I appreciated, and I feel he really put in effort to solve a problem I brought to his attention that did not have an obvious solution. But, the one thing I would say as feedback is that he maybe could have been slightly more assertive in offering me services. I came in with a car that had obvious damage from a fender bender, had a change oil symbol lit up on the dash, and that needed a new tire. The only issue the staff clocked was the tire. I had to go and really verbalize all the other issues with my car to get them addressedโฆ but as I said, my mechanic really worked hard on everything I brought to his attention, he solved all the issues, and he was very honest and did not try to upsell me. I used to work for the Apple Store and some other IT/tech sales jobs.. I think Thrifty Tire and its customers would benefit if staff were trained to thoroughly assess each car that comes in for the services it might need, and offer those services to customers in a no-pressure, just informational way.
